Writing

Writing. I've been writing for decades. I squirreled those early bits and pieces away as I wrote them so that no one ever saw them, and later burned a lot of it when I reread them with a horror and dread and embarrassment second only to hearing recordings of my own voice.

Still, some writings survived those purges, and I have a dogeared, yellowing stack of songs and poems several inches thick. I will type them into a text editor one of these days...

In 2011 I began writing in earnest. A novel. I started in August (I think) and wrote, edited, rewrote, re-edited eight, ten hours a day, five, six, seven days a week damn-near non-stop for the entirety of those years, and now, nearly eleven short years later, the novel is done.
